Easelry is a Mac app. Bun for Easelry is its Chrome extension. This page says what they read, where it goes, and what we never do. Updated 18 October 2026.
Only the page you are on, and only at the moment you press Keep or ask, or choose Keep in Easelry from the right-click menu. Then it reads what you chose: the page as text, a part of it with its fonts and colours, a picture of what you see, the words you selected, or a post with who wrote it. It never reads a page on its own, never watches what you browse and keeps no history of where you went. It never clicks, types, posts, likes or sends anything.
What you keep goes to the Easelry app on your own Mac, at a local address (127.0.0.1) only that Mac can reach, and is saved there as a file you own. It does not go to us. We run no server that receives what you keep.
When you ask your own AI agent (for example Claude Code or Codex) to work on something you kept, Easelry hands it to that agent on your Mac, and the agent may send it to its own company (Anthropic, OpenAI) to do the work, under that company's terms. Keeping alone sends nothing to any agent.
When you keep from a site, Bun may ask Chrome's permission to read that site again later, so your agent can read a page there when you ask it to. You can forget any site on Bun's options page, and Chrome asks again next time. Your open tabs' titles are shared with your agent only if you turn that on.
No analytics, no tracking, no advertising, no selling or sharing of data, no accounts. The app checks this address about once a day for a new version of Easelry; that request carries no information about you or your files.
Remove Bun from Chrome's extensions page at any time; what you kept stays in Easelry on your Mac until you delete it there.
